Buckinghamshire wedding photography; Notley Abbey

Jenny & Hassan

I was privileged to photograph Jenny’s brother’s wedding back in 2010 and was delighted when Jenny got in touch to ask me to photograph their wedding. We had such fun at their engagement portrait shoot in Bristol back in April, as they are such a cute couple. Notley Abbey is a beautiful wedding venue on the Buckinghamshire / Oxfordshire border. This country house wedding venue is set amongst beautiful grounds and was the perfect backdrop for their special day.

I always enjoy photographing the details as the girls get ready. I particularly liked the personalised dressing gowns for the bride and her bridesmaids. The girls all looked stunning in their dresses and Jenny looked amazing in her Ellie Sanderson wedding dress. It was particularly lovely that Jenny’s Mum made her bouquet of flowers herself and it was special to see how close Jenny and her family all are.

I loved all the colourful dresses at this wedding as two cultures came together. It was lovely to see how happy Jenny & Hassan are together and how pleased their families are for them. I loved photographing the bride and groom together as they were so natural in front of the camera, and these are some of my favourite bridal portraits to date. There was a lot of fun at this wedding and the speeches had everyone laughing, especially when the best man started to take off his shirt!

There was a lot of joy and laughter at this wedding and it was lovely to be a part of Jenny & Hassan’s special day. Wishing you both all the best for your future together.
