First impressions count. The images on your website are probably one of the first things your potential clients will notice. Victoria is the managing director at Technopoly, a thriving software company based in Newquay, Cornwall. She reached out to me looking for some fresh and modern business brand photography to fit their new website. I was delighted to be able to help and after a brief consultation I had a good idea of the kind of photographs they were looking for.

It’s important for me to understand your business and your hopes for this branding photography shoot. As part of our consultation I asked Victoria to send over a pinterest board of images that she liked and we talked about the best place to do the shoot. Technopoly’s Cornwall office is light and modern and we wanted to photograph all the team members, so it made sense to do the shoot there. Headshots are useful for every kind of business, linked in profiles or to introduce your team.
Telling your business story
People buy from people. If you want to attract your dream clients, it’s important to show your personality and your values. It was lovely getting to know everyone at Technopoly and we had some fun creating these images. It is normal to feel a bit awkward or self conscious at the start of a branding shoot, but a sense of humour goes a long way! I am well used to photographing camera shy people and putting them at ease.
