Holywell Bay was the location for this gorgeous Cornwall beach engagement shoot. Molly & Adam live in London, but wanted to celebrate their recent engagement with a special trip to Cornwall.
Beach adventure shoot
Both originally from Canada, and outdoor types, the idea of adventuring along the Cornish Coast really appealed to them. These two were great fun as we scrambled up sand dunes, explored the caves along the shoreline and splashed through low tides.
In classic Cornish style, we had every kind of weather throughout the session, we even saw a couple of rainbows. I love the light at the coast, ever changing as the sun breaks through the clouds. Even the rain didn’t dampen our spirits, and in fact added a cute cosiness to the session.
Every engagement session is unique as I seek to tell your individual story. The best photographs always come from you being real and yourselves. Going on an adventure together is one of my favourite ways of capturing your unique connection and allowing you to just be yourselves.

The beauty of an engagement shoot is that we have a chance to get to know each other. I get to see how you interact as a couple and what works for the photos, and you get to have a trial run and see how I work. I always work in a relaxed way and many couples have commented on my ability to put the most camera shy people at ease. We tend to go for a walk and I will make suggestions as I see shots. I never pose couples but give you suggestions and prompts to help you relax and get the best out of you.
