Knightor Winery Wedding Photographer

I have been looking forward to this Knightor Winery wedding for nearly two years! A special one, as the bride and groom share my name! I have felt a special connection with this couple since we first met in 2020.

We stumbled across Hannah on Bridebook feeling overwhelmed and noticed we shared her name, we took this as a sign and we’re so glad we did! Hannah has been brilliant, from start to finish she made the whole process feel completely manageable, she understood we were a camera shy couple and offered us an engagement shoot, during this she put us both at ease and we were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful shots we received! Hannah once again worked her magic on our wedding day being understanding and flexible, everyone commented on how lovely her presence was and how professional she was throughout the day. We have received the most beautiful photos from our special day all because of Hannah, that we will treasure forever. Thank you so much for all you have done in helping us remember our special day and we can’t wait to enjoy our photo album!

Bridal Prep

Hannah chose to get married near where she grew up in St Agnes and got ready at her parents home. I love bridal prep as it really helps tell the story of the day from beginning to end. So much care and attention goes into getting ready and there are often special moments between close family as they prepare for the wedding.

St Agnes Church ceremony

St Agnes Church was a natural choice for Hannah to get married in as it was close to her childhood home. Arriving in a Morgan vintage car, Hannah met her flower girls and rest of the bridal party at the church. This was a lovely ceremony filled with personal touches. We snuck away for a few photographs of the newlyweds in the church grounds while the guests were organised for the confetti tunnel.

Next we headed to Trevellas Cove for some special photos of the bride and groom. This beach was one of Hannah’s favourite spots growing up as her Grandparents lived close by. The St Agnes Heritage Coastline is very picturesque, especially with it’s rich mining history. The area is recognised as a world heritage site and the ruins of tin mines create a truly unique backdrop for bridal portraits.

We headed back to Knightor Winery for the wedding reception. As we drove over towards St Austell the rain started. Fortunately Knightor has some lovely indoor locations and the guests were cosy and warm. The rain certainly didn’t dampen spirits and even allowed for some creative photography later on in the evening. The food was delicious and the speeches were touching and funny. Hannah & Tim had a very special wedding cheescake as Hannah is not keen on cake and everyone remarked on how unique this was. We took a few more family photos when the rain let up and everyone enjoyed dancing the night away. The sparklers were also a big hit and I loved having the chance to be more creative with the lighting as night fell.
