Lusty Glaze is a unique beach wedding venue in Cornwall, UK. Situated in a secluded cove on the outskirts of Newquay, this coastal venue is located on its own private beach with spectacular sea views across the Atlantic Ocean.

The Top 10 – A Family Affair
I photograph a lot of big, grand weddings which can be really fun. However, the beauty of small and intimate ceremonies lies in the genuine connections and unscripted moments they foster. Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing an LGBTQ family wedding at the enchanting Lusty Glaze in Cornwall. With only their children & partners in attendance this celebration was more akin to a heartfelt family portrait shoot than a traditional wedding.
A Playful and Memorable Celebration
This intimate wedding was a testament to the couple’s love and their deep bond with their children. The day was filled with laughter, spontaneity, and an adventurous spirit. Jess & Susan love the beach and had chosen to elope to Cornwall for this reason. When they first got in touch Jess described their day as a family day at the beach with a short ceremony in the middle. Having camped the night before these were the most relaxed brides I have ever worked with!
Capturing Authentic Moments of Family Connection
As a reportage wedding photographer, my goal is to capture the authenticity and unique essence of each couple and their story. After some time alone as newlyweds, the rest of the family joined us for some family fun. I had the privilege of capturing unscripted moments during the impromtu water fight which left everyone laughing and soaked through.

This Lusty Glaze Wedding, was a celebration of love, laughter, and fun. Jess & Suse opted for my elopements package as they didn’t need full day coverage, but as you can see we covered a lot in a short amount of time. It is my hope that these photographs will be cherished memories of their wedding day at Lusty Glaze, Newquay.
