Claire & James’ Al Paca wedding

I loved being part of this creative and colourful wedding at the beautiful St Audries Park Wedding Venue in Somerset. We were blessed with glorious sunshine for this wedding, a rare treat sandwiched in between a lot of rain. I first photographed at this gorgeous venue 10 years ago near the beginning of my wedding photography career and was very glad to be back. This is a truly stunning countryside wedding venue surrounded by acres of lush meadows filled with freely roaming deer. The house itself has so many charming period features including the gorgeous light Orangerie for wedding ceremonies and the Harry Potter style Great Hall complete with roaring fire.

Claire & James are such a creative and talented couple, the guests and I were blown away by how much love went into the preparation of this wedding. The Bride & Groom impressively hand made over 1200 fabric flowers to decorate the venue, wound around the pillars in the Orangerie and up the stairs of the Great Hall. There were masses of hand crafted details including – home made sloe gin, origami dinosaurs, fabric flower bouquets & a crochet card frog! This wedding was so creative and fun but the highlight had to be the adorable special guests… An audible gasp was heard when the wedding guests first spotted the Al Pacas arriving! These peaceful and friendly animals were a big hit with the wedding guests young and old and it was lovely to take a walk around the grounds with them and the Bride and Groom. There was a lot of laughter and fun at this wedding as people enjoyed their drinks and canapés in the sun and played garden games in the grounds.

This wedding is a good example of my half day package for those that may not have the budget or need for full day coverage. You can see how much we covered in 4 hours! I provide a range of wedding photography options for all budgets so please share and get in touch if you would like to find out more.

Thank you Claire & James for inviting me to be part of your special day, I wish you both a lifetime of happiness.

Please feel free to tag and share and enjoy these highlights 🙂
