The Green Cornwall Wedding Photographer
The Green Cornwall is one of my closest wedding venues and I’ve been looking forward to photographing at this gorgeous Cornish wedding barn ever since moving to Liskeard in 2020.
The Green Cornwall exclusive hire wedding venue
Nestled in enchanting, woodland countryside and home to a collection of restored farm buildings, The Green provides a breathtaking setting for weddings. They provide exclusive hire for up to 42 on site guests (with accommodation options for extra guests) and a variety of both indoor and outdoor ceremony options. Located in the heart of Cornwall, close to the Devon border, The Green has a lot to offer.
Rosie & Nick had exclusive hire of The Green which meant a lovely relaxed start to the day. It also meant everyone was on site in the same place and minimised travel stresses. Rosie & Nick had opted for one of my shorter coverage packages but I still caught some bridal prep shots and guests arrival.
Cornish Wedding barn
Rosie & Nick chose to get married in the wedding barn as they had a lot of guests and the rustic barn space was lovely decorated with bunting and twinkling fairy lights.
Liskeard wedding photography
It was a freezing start to the day for this January wedding, but you would never know it from these photographs! The sun shone beautifully and it was one of those gorgeous clear winter days that lets you know spring is on it’s way. There is a special quality to winter light, low in the sky and very flattering for portraits. I loved exploring places to shoot at The Green including in the really rustic wedding barn complete with glowing bulbs and rustic walls it made a lovely backdrop for special couple portraits.
Wedding reception
The red brick barn was the venue for the reception. I always like to capture the details of your centerpieces and decorations as well as some table shots. As this was short coverage I left the newlyweds at this point to enjoy their wedding breakfast.
