Best of 2019

Wedding Photography South wales

Better late than never, I am finally sharing my best wedding photography of 2019 highlights. It has taken me a while to sort through the thousands of images I’ve taken this year from a variety of beautiful wedding and engagement shoots. I decided not to include highlights from my family portrait shoots this year as there would be too many! Perhaps they will have their own highlights blog at some point! I love reflecting back on the year and seeing how every couple chooses to do their wedding differently and express themselves. For any brides-to-be reading this, I hope you find some inspiration from some of the creative weddings I’ve shot this year πŸ™‚

I have shot in some amazing venues this year, including Fonmon Castle, Fairyhill, Coed Hills, Mansion House,Β  Gileston Manor, St Audries Park, County Hall, Old Church Farm and St Fagan’s. I love shooting in new venues and creatively love the challenge of finding new locations and backdrops for the bridal portraits. A beautiful venue certainly helps a photographer, but a good professional will be able to transform any space to make something magical.

I hope you enjoy looking through these highlights and that they give you a flavour of my style and the kinds of shots I like to take. With over 15 years experience shooting weddings and family portraits I am well practised at organising groups and give posing advice when needed, but am happiest observing and capturing magical moments for you.

It’s your wedding day, I won’t be bossing you around and taking you away from your guests for hours. We normally find 20 – 30 mins to go for a wander and let you catch up with each other, and about the same for the group photographs (if you want them). The rest of the time you will probably not even notice me (unless I am struck with inspiration and just need to grab you for a special shot!) I blend in with your guests to be able to document some of the behind the scenes moments you might miss.

Please feel free to share these photographs with anyone recently engaged and looking for their wedding photographer. I work primarily in South Wales and the South West but am expanding my working area to include Devon and Cornwall this year and am excited about all the coastal wedding venues! If you know anyone getting married in Devon or Cornwall please share this post with them and get in touch as I may have some very special offers for venues that I am keen to shoot at. I have limited availablity for 2020 and now taking bookings for 2021 and 2022. More information about package options can be found here

Thanks to all the couples that have put their faith in me this year and for all the recommendations and referals. The majority of my work comes from recomendations from previous clients and I really appreciate all the likes and shares.

Here’s to an exciting 2020 πŸ™‚
